Lemon Water VS Apple Cider Vinegar

Lemon Water Vs Apple Cider Vinegar

I’m sure you’ve heard that apple cider vinegar is the best thing you could have first thing in the morning. Maybe you’ve heard that but it doesn’t matter to you anyways because you have a coffee first thing in the morning. Anyways, I’m here to give you the facts around lemon water and why you should start making this change in your morning routine.

Lemon water has vitamins C and B and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium. Lemon water assists in the liver’s detoxification process, purging toxins out of the liver and helps alkalise the body. Lemon water can help constipation. Lemon water decreases inflammation.

Start every morning with a tall glass of water with a lemon squeezed in your filtered water for these benefits.

Lemon water tends to get a bad reputation, and gets the blame that the lemons are responsible for bad teeth. This is actually not true, as lemons have bioactive calcium and help restore the calcium of the teeth while alkalising the body. The regular routines we often do, like having a coffee everyday, are responsible for pulling calcium out of the body and making the teeth weak due to the high acidity. Apple cider vinegar is also acidic, and dehydrates the body and liver, making it hard for the liver and blood to receive oxygen. Apple cider vinegar can negatively affect the kidneys due to extra acid. The studies on apple cider vinegar and its benefits are few.

Enjoy your lemon water every morning :)

xx Tiffany
